A NEW MEMBER must be NOMINATED by completing the following form and emailing it to the Hunt Committee at gchmasters@gmail.com.
We encourage both new and renewing members to review our "What is Foxhunting," attire, etiquette, and hunt terminology area as well. Green Creek Hounds welcomes riders who are new to foxhunting to try hunting with us. Please email GCHMasters@gmail.com to ask for more information and permission to come hunt!
Capping
Capping, or riding with the hunt as a non-riding Member or Guest, is $100 per hunt during early season prior to Opening Hunt and $150 for Opening Hunt and afterwards until the end of the season. Please contact Master Tom Cadier at trc4087@icloud.com or gchmasters@gmail.com to request official permission to hunt from our Master. Non-hunting Members are permitted 5 cap hunts per season.
To cap, following permission from our Master, we need a completed waiver, current Coggins, a current hunting license, and the cap fee prior to hunting. CELL PHONE RECEPTION IS VERY SPOTTY AT OUR FIXTURES SO CAPPING GUESTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE AND/OR EMAIL FORMS ONLINE IN ADVANCE AND ALSO PAY IN ADVANCE VIA ZELLE (Zelle to gchmasters@gmail.com). You CAN bring signed paper waiver and copies of Coggins and license to the fixture and pay with cash or check on the day of the hunt.
MAKE SURE YOU CHECK IN WITH OUR FIELD SECRETARY NEAR THE GATE OF EACH FIXTURE WHEN YOU ARRIVE!
Trainers riding a client's horse are reminded to provide Coggins for that horse.
